Meet Lindsay
Steady hands, warm kitchens, a mother's heart
Fine dining chef turned birth doula, home birth midwife, and registered nurse — now offering postpartum doula care in Phoenix.
Hi, I'm Lindsay.

Before I ever caught a baby, I cooked in fine dining kitchens. Those years taught me attention to detail, a feel for timing, and what it means to pour your soul into the food you serve. I didn't know it then, but I was learning the language of care: nourish people, pay attention to the small things, make them feel looked after.
My heart found its way to birth soon after. I began as a doula, sitting close beside women in labor, then trained as a home birth midwife and later earned my nursing license. I've been welcomed into hospital rooms, birth centers, and living rooms for birth after birth — and even spent time volunteering as a midwife in Haiti, where I was reminded how simple and powerful good care can be.
And in between all of that, I've been a mama four times over — my littlest is 5, my oldest is 21. I've experienced firsthand giving birth in the hospital, the birth center, and at home, so I know those early weeks from the inside.
I started Phoenix Postpartum because I remember exactly who I wished would have knocked on my door back then. Someone to warm the kitchen. To hold the baby while I showered. To say "you're doing great" and mean it. Now I get to be that person for you — and I would be honored to.
If you're expecting, or about to be, I'd love to hear from you. Ask me anything — about the packages, what a visit looks like, or just what to expect in those first weeks. No question is too small. I'm here.
